Top Dance Crew in UK

Boy Blue Entertainment is the most successful and accomplished Hip Hop Dance Company currently performing in the UK. They recently just had a theatre performance at the Barbican Theatre in London from December 2009 till the 3rd of January.
Their first show was back in March 2009 which my friends took me to see as a suprise for my birthday and ever since I have always been a fan of them. They are the top of the top.

And it is rumored that they are choreographing for the first UK STREET DANCE MOVIE ( Step Up style)

Check out their website by Clicking here and see for yourself. =)

This is just a video trailer of their theatrical performance. Enjoy =)

Back Back in time

I know a lot of people are interested in where popping and locking started from. This is just a little history lesson for those out there that aren't sure where it all started from
Electric Boogaloos started it all. Enjoy =)

Popping is a dance style and one of the original funk styles dances that came out of Fresno, CA in the 1970s. It is based on the technique of quickly contracting and relaxing muscles to cause a jerk in the dancer's body, referred to as a pop or a hit. This is done continuously to the rhythm of a song in combination with various movements and poses.

Click here if you want to know more about it and other styles like Waving, Tutting and Robot.

Crazy Moves

This is a classic, and i believe the world has seen it, but why not. It is always a feel good to see those amazing dancers out there and remember them

Enjoy =)

Fashion

I don't want to direct my blog toward fashion but I just thought, since you like Street Dance like I do, I could share the latest fashion out there for dancers from shoes to tops.

The style of these sneakers is what every dancer of the 21th century is look to have. the fashion trend from the 80's has come back and every dancer want to adopt it. It gives you that cool look to be honest and i can't wait to get myself a pair. =)

Into The Hoods The Musical

I'm sure everyone knows what a musical is. we all know the dance style it is when it comes to musical. you expect tap dancing, brodway style contemporary etc..some might like it, some might not. But the question is, has anyone heard of a hip hop musical show? Well here it is. it was on in 2008 and and stop after a while. But due to its success, it came back on stage and i am definetly going to see it. It is a production going on right now in London at the Novello Theatre for anyone who will be willing to see it too. Check out their website by Clicking here.
Enjoy the trailer =)

Omarion

One of the reasons why I love Omarion, is because of his videos. Even if the song itself is bad, i like the dance/choreography of the video.

Mark Calape, aka Swarf Mafia is one of the Animaineax, whose group profile is really high since winning Move Like Michael Jackson with his group Animaneax
